Obituary of Yip Sao

Yip Sao Age 88, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville. She was born in Cambodia into a farming family and had emigrated to the United States in 1984 with her husband, Soun Sao, settling in Joliet, IL. Beloved wife of the late Suon Sao (1992); loving mother of Samon (Rene) Sao and Samath (Sam) Mullin; dearest grandmother of Malay and Maly Chou, Mona Chou; Bora and Alex Sao; proud great-grandmother of Ethan and Bella Sao. Yip loved playing cards, dice games and being at home with friends and family. Another favorite past-time was loving and spoiling her grandchildren. Funeral Services for Yip Sao will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Road, Joliet. Cremation Rites will follow the services. Visitation will take place Friday, 5 - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until services begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
