Obituary of Barbara Graves

Graves, Barbara J. (nee Kosley) Age 67. Passed away peacefully, Monday, December 9, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center surrounded by her family. Barb was a hairdresser for over 30 years. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, a devoted grandmother and caring sister. Survived by her daughters, Jodie (Jeffrey) Couch, Sr. and Heather (Jerry) Hauert; her grandchildren, Meghan (Jill Fasano) Graves, Mackenzie Couch, Ty Couch, Trina (Scott) Parker, Jeffrey Couch, Jr., and Dakota, Dawson, Reagan and Reilly Hauert; three sisters, Jo (Late Jack) Snider, Marcy (Jerry) Lurz and Maryann (late Bud) Horaney; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved companion, LuLu. Preceded in death by her husband, Gerald E. "Jerry" Graves (2012); her son, Jason (1990); her parents, George and Ann Kosley. Visitation for Barbara J. Graves will be THURSDAY MORNING, December 12, 2013 from 8:30-10:15 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Her funeral will be 10:15 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rockdale, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
