Obituary of Louise Grawey

Grawey, Louise E. (nee Campbell) Age 95. At rest Thursday, December 12, 2013 at her late residence in Shorewood. Born in Bloomington, IN, residing in Peoria, IL before relocating to Shorewood in 2012. A volunteer coordinator as well as a reader for WCBU Public Radio for over 30 years. She was also omsbudsman for the Peoria area nursing home facility. An avid bowler and reader who loved to travel. Surviving are her four children, Anne (Terry) Applegate, James Grawey, Kathryn "Kit" Grawey-Schmidt and Patricia (Rick) Grawey-Beeler; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Grawey. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 7519 N. Allen Rd., Peoria, IL 61614. Deacon Robert W. Myers Sr. officiating. Family will receive all friends and relatives from 10:30 until time of service.
