Obituary of Joseph Dionne

Joseph F. Dionne, Jr. Age 70. Suddenly Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago Heights, the son of the late Joseph and Dolores (Ruwaldt) Dionne, Sr. Residing in Joliet most of his life. Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School and Lewis College with a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and Business. Retired from Johns Manville as plant manager following over 40 years of service. Joe loved traveling and enjoyed his time with family. Survived are his loving wife of 41 years, Sandy (Helix) Dionne of Joliet; his son, Mike (Meg) Dionne of Morris; one brother, James (Jan) Dionne of Bonney Lake, WA; two sisters, Dee (Bob) Brandt of Loudon, TN and Kathy (Joe) Zdralevich, Jr. of Shorewood, IL; uncle of Shelley (Ron) Wyka of Chicago, Kelly (Mike) Carlson of Shorewood and Joe (Kelly) Zdralevich, III of Lockport; great-uncle of Peyton and Quinn Zdralevich and Kaelynn and Kaylie Carlson; his aunt, Tessie (John) O'Brien of Sauk Village, IL; and numerous cousins. Funeral Services for Joseph F. Dionne, Jr. will be Monday, December 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
