Obituary of Donna Johnson

Donna M. Johnson (nee Flannagan) Age 61, of Channahon, at rest suddenly, Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her home. Born July 5, 1952 in Union Town, IN to Albert and Mary Flannagan. She was employed at Ecolab for 22 years. She was an avid antique doll collector and coin collector. Survived by her husband of 25 years, Dow Johnson of Channahon; loving mother of Tammy (Dennis) Shepherd, Mark Persinger, Debbie (Shaun) Lowe and Kimberly Phillips; proud grandmother of Ryan and Lainie Shepherd; Lance and Jonny Persinger, Ivan Shaw II, Dow, Shaun Jr., Steven and Chad Lowe; her mother, Mary (nee Gehlhausen) Flannagan; dear sister of Norma Lee (Al) Kolvesky, Alberta Philpot, Larry "Ray" Flannagan, Gayle Ann (Wayne) Faulkenberg, Mary Jo (Mark) Beckman, and Carol Jean (Denny) Zellers; fond sister-in-law of Dennis Yates; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Albert Flannagan; sister, Charlene Yates; and great-nephew, Dustin Faulkenberg. Donna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who was loved by all and will be dearly missed by her family. Funeral Services for Donna M. Johnson will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
