Obituary of Bernard Quigley

Bernard Quigley Age 88, of Joliet, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at Presence Villa Franciscan Nursing Home. Born July 17, 1925 in Symerton, IL, he worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters. Surviving are his children, Joseph of Emerald Isle, NC, Leonard of San Diego, CA, Jean of Richland, WA, Carey (Pat) of Ridgefield, CT, Sharon (Brian) Michalak of New Lenox and Timothy of Aiea, HI; daughter-in-law, Chris (Don) Strle; grandchildren, Juliet Gonsalves, Caitlin, Kellen and Timothy, Ryan, Alexandria, Samantha and Jacob, Dani and Joshua Quigley, Caley Rose, Patrick, Aaron and Sean Michalak; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Lillian Terese (nee Lanigan) Quigley (2003); his son, Patrick J. Quigley; his parents; one brother, Emmett (Veronica) Quigley; and one sister, Kathleen (Gerald) Kinsella. Funeral Services for Bernard Quigley will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 710 W. Marion St., Joliet. Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington. Memorials in his name to the Joliet Catholic Academy Patrick J. Quigley Memorial Scholarship Fund would be appreciated. Visitation SATURDAY MORNING, 9-11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by Fred C.
