Obituary of Sarah Rodriguez

Sarah Jane Rodriguez Age 63, of Lockport, passed away suddenly, Monday, December 23, 2013 with her family by her side. Born in Joliet, she was a lifetime area resident. Sarah received her nursing degree and worked many years as a registered nurse. Survived by her parents, Celia (nee Iniguez) and Willie Guajardo; her siblings, Velia (Guillermo) Lara, Rachel Warning, Jaime (Rosie) Guajardo, Kim (John) Mares, Clarita (Jack) Guajardo and Alicia (Al) Stogsdill; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her faithful canine companion, Ginger, the love of her life. Preceded in death by her father, Albert Rodriguez; two brothers, Antonio and Reynaldo Guajardo; grandmother, Juanita Loredo; uncle, Locardio Limon and her pets, Gizmo and Chewy. Funeral Services for Sarah Jane Rodriguez will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Cremation Rites will be accorded following services. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be divided among Sarah's favorite organizations.
