Obituary of Veronica Miroslavic

Veronica E. Miroslavic "Roni" (nee McGinnis) Age 85. Passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Fairview Care Center. Surviving are her daughter, Debra Hyland (Robert) Couch of Minooka, IL; step-daughter, Barbara (late Frank) Mathews of Ely, MN; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie (late Charles) Kelleher, Millicent (late James) Riddle; one brother, T. Vincent McGinnis; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two daughters, Mary Richards and Kathleen "Kate" Phillips; her granddaughter, Kerry Kennedy; one son, Thomas Hyland in infancy; her husband, John Miroslavic; and parents, Zita (nee Turner) and Thomas McGinnis. A prayer service for Veronica E. Miroslavic will be held Saturday January 4, 2014, 1:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Visitation will follow the prayer service from 2-4 p.m. As it was Veronica's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded and Inurnment will take place later at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Campus, IL.
