Obituary of Siegmund Rasokat

Siegmund Rasokat Age 76. Peacefully Monday, January 13, 2014 at home. Born in Taurogen, Lithuania, residing in Plainfield the past 12 years. Retired from Lucent Technologies in 1999. Survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ella (Jakowitz) Rasokat of Plainfield; two daughters, Rita (Jeffrey) Nowak of Frankfort and Julia (B.J.) Dasovic of Racine, WI; five grandchildren, Karalyne, Anna, Grant, Luke and Maggie; two brothers, Bruno (Inge) and Siegfried (Renate) Rasokat. Preceded by his parents, August and Else Rasokat. Siegmund Rasokat will lie in state on Thursday, January 16, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, 305 E. Black Road, Shorewood, IL 60404 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. Rev. George Klima officiating. Interment Bethania Cemetery, Justice, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be appreciated.
