Obituary of Martha Estes

Martha A. Estes (nee Black) Age 79. At rest Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her home following a valiant battle with Alzheimer's' disease. Born in Casey, IL to the late Birtle and Cleta Black, residing in Joliet for over 58 years. Martha spent 10 years visiting the Autumn Adult Day Care Center. Surviving are her two daughters, Judy (Mel) Cortese-McFarland of Posen, IL and Vicky (Rigoberto, Sr.) Valadez of Joliet; her son, Terry (Delia) Estes of Joliet; eight grandchildren, Tonya and Nicholas Cortese, Rigo (Vianney) and Jack Valadez, Terry Jr. (Michelle), Joshua, Adam and Vincent Estes; 11 great-grandchildren, Liam and Dominic Cortese, Julian and Jayden Valadez, Miranda and Carissa Flores, Taylour Estes, Xander and David Sateikis, Isella Estes and Francis Jax Urias. Preceded by her husband, Kermit Estes (2004); great-grandson, Marcus Antonio Valadez; two sisters, Elizabeth Carver and Luella Lee; four brothers, Bill, Wayne, Holly Dale and Robert Black. The family of Martha Estes would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Autumn Adult Day Care and Joliet Area Community Hospice for all their kind compassionate care.
