Obituary of Patricia Sullivan

Patricia J. Sullivan (nee Goff) Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the age of 85. Survived by her son, Chris (Patricia) Rouskey; daughters-in-law, Kathleen Rouskey and Mary Rouskey; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Francis H. Sullivan (2004); two sons, Nick Rouskey (2011) and Greg Rouskey (2011); her grandson, Travis Rouskey (1986); and her brothers and sisters. Patricia was born December 6, 1928 to Earl and Anna (nee Ellsworth) Goff in Ashland, WI. She resided there until 1994 when she and her husband moved to Crest Hill after her retirement from Munsingwear. Patricia was a wonderful mother to her three sons who she raised as a single parent, and will always be remembered for her selfless sacrifice and constant affection. It would be impossible to describe the love given from her. She will also be remembered for her cheerful disposition, tremendous sense of humor and loyalty and devotion to her family. She was a member of the Joliet Christian Women's Club and Red Hat Society, and Cantigny Post VFW #367 Ladies Auxiliary. Patricia enjoyed music and dancing, but most of all enjoyed times spent with her family and friends especially, those friends she met while residing at the Timbers in Shorewood. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Angels Grace Hospice for all of their love and support Funeral Services for Patricia J. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to the Church of St. Jude for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
