Obituary of Jill Lightfoot

Jill N. Saylor Lightfoot Age 75, of Joliet, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home with her family by her side. Born August 21, 1938 in Joliet, she was the daughter of William Franklin and Sophie (nee Lingemann) Saylor. Jill was an active volunteer at St. Joseph Medical Center. She will be remembered for her love of animals and her support of animal welfare organizations. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Lightfoot of Joliet; her loving daughter, Toni (Edward) Kobe of Crest Hill; two grandchildren, Ryan West and Rachel West; her devoted brother, William (late Cheryl) Saylor, Jr. of Mundelein; three nephews, Bill Saylor, Kevin Saylor and Doug Hase; one niece, Chris Saylor; two step-sons, Robert Bowen and Randy (Judy) Lightfoot; three step-grandchildren, Amber, Angie and Brad; and her dear friend, Margaret Inlow of Joliet. She was preceded by her parents, and one sister, Jacqueline Hase. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center, Rosewood Care Center, and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their care and concern shown their loved one.
