Richard A. Smith "Ric" Age 49. Passed away tragically Tuesday, March 18, 2014 as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Aurora, IL on September 29, 1964. A resident of Plainfield the past 14 years. Employed by Will County as a lead engineer. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Maria Victoria Smith of Plainfield; parents, Darrell and Karen Smith of Oswego; one sister, Deborah Smith of Oswego. Funeral Services for Ric Smith will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Private family interment.
