Obituary of Betty Fine

Betty L. Fine (nee Lamb) Age 88, of Joliet, passed away March 19, 2014 at Rosewood Care Center. Born October 11, 1925 in Pasco, WA she was the daughter of Herbert and Evelyn (nee Everett) Lamb. She was a Registered Nurse serving as a Cadet Nurse at Kadelec Hospital and as an operating room nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet. Betty was a devout Christian and member of First Assembly of God. She was a bible study leader and a prayerful woman. She was also an avid golfer. Betty was a dear friend to everyone she met. Surviving are her daughters, Nancy S. (Robert) Schwab of Joliet and Cheryl (Terry) McCamman of Sandy, OR; three grandchildren, Shaun McCamman, Amy McCamman and Christopher J. Schwab; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her husband, John R. Fine (1995); her parents; and seven brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of Rosewood Care Center for their tender care. A private Chapel Service for Betty L. Fine was held Friday, March 21, 2014 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
