Obituary of Lila Williams

Lila Juanita Williams (nee Ketner) Age 93. At rest Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at her late residence. Born March 21, 1921 in Joliet to the late Robert and Julia Ketner, she was a lifelong resident. Member of Ridgewood Baptist Church. She was an avid baker and enjoyed painting and sewing. Survived by three children, Barbara (Ron) Durham, Ron (Janice) Williams both of Joliet, and Sandra (late Floyd) Gordon of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, Randy (Mindy) Williams, Rob Long, Kim (Gary) Kempke, Julie (Dwight) Beguin, Rhonda (Dan) Hamil, Jennifer (Bill) Westering and Terri (Brett) Revlett; 16 grandchildren, Ryan and Eric Williams, Jordan and Jackson Long, Vanessa Kempke, Michal Joy, Josh and Nicole Beguin, Andrew and Kelsey Hamil, Caleb and Tyler Westering, Cassidy, Ashley, Audry and Mandy Revlett. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Earl Williams (2006); four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services for Lila Juanita Williams will be Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or Ridgewood Baptist Church would be appreciated. Visitation THURSDAY morning 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
