Obituary of Mark Rein

Mark E. Rein Age 40. Passed away suddenly, Friday, April 25, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room with his family by his side. Born July 13, 1973 in Melrose Park, IL he was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree. He was employed by Schaefer Greenhouses, Inc. of Montgomery. Surviving are his son, Christian (Julie) Rein of Minooka; his mother and step-father, Denise M. (nee Thorson) and Herschel Spires of Shorewood; one sister, Michelle Rein of Melrose Park; one brother, Jack (Chris Battershell) Rein of Shorewood; one step-sister, Tricia (James) Bonner of Minooka; one niece, Alexis Rein; his best friend, April Tamillo; his three beloved dogs; and many dear friends. Preceded by his father, Mark D. Rein (2010). Funeral Services for Mark E. Rein will be Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials in his name to the family would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday, 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
