Obituary of Joseph Hart

Joseph V. Hart Age 66, of Joliet, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 30, 1947 in Joliet, to Joseph V. and Dorothy Hart, he was a life long Lockport and Joliet area resident. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Joe was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather who will be remembered for his love of music and how he courageously fought Multiple Sclerosis for over 30 years. Surviving are his beloved wife of 36 years, Laura (nee Senffner) Hart; two daughters, Becky Hart of Crest Hill and Dawn (Brian) Daniels of Channahon; one son, Graham C. Hart of Naperville; five grandchildren; one brother, James P. (Linda) Hart of Plainfield; one sister, Barbara LeRoy of Crest Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded by his parents, one granddaughter, Ashlyn Daniels; and his brother, Thomas Hart. Funeral Services for Joseph Hart will be Friday, May 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Deacon Marco Lovero will officiate. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
