Obituary of Ashley Ahrens

Ahrens, Ashley Brianne Our Angel on earth, was elevated to watch over us on at the age of 15. Ashley was born September 5, 1996 in Elgin, IL to Christine (Barton) and Shawn Ahrens and had also resided in Cicero for a short time and then Plainfield since 2004. In addition to her parents, she will also be missed by her younger brother Matthew; maternal grandparents, Laura Barton and Kenneth Barton; paternal grandparents, Sherry and Dennis Ahrens; maternal great-grandmother, Betty Kakos; paternal great-grandmother Irene Miller. She is also survived by her loving aunts and uncle, Kimberly Yablon, Kenneth (Jennifer) Barton and Heather (Jason) Flick; dear cousins, Hayley, Amber and Rachel; Gillian and Gina; as well as many great-aunts, great- uncles and other relatives. A Memorial Service for Ashley Brianne Ahrens will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
