Winifred E. Luchtenburg "Winnie" (nee Brandenburg) Age 88. At rest Monday, May 12, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet to the late Emil and Lucy (nee Louisa) Brandenburg, she was a lifelong resident. Retired from the U.S Government. Member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus and the Joliet Square Dancing Club. Winnie enjoyed traveling in her motor home and crocheting. Loving aunt of many, including Sarah Driggers of Downers Grove and Robert (Mary) Driggers of Downers Grove; numerous cousins, including Teresa (Al) Evans of Joliet; dear friends; and her canine companion, Muffy also survive. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Edward Luchtenburg (2008). Funeral Services for Winifred E. Luchtenburg will be Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fred C.
