James E. Scofield Age 87, of Romeoville, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Shelby J. (nee Barnes) Scofield; five daughters; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral Services for James E. Scofield will be Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Memorials in his name to Grace Baptist Church, Lockport, would be appreciated.
