Cynthia M. Hampton
(nee Brown)
Age 76. Passed away Monday, May 5, 2014 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home.
Her husband Robert E. Hampton, DVM and grandson, Leon Krueger, preceded her in death.
Survived by her brother James Brown and sister-in-law Virginia Brown, sister Wanda (Brown) Blair, children and their spouses, Debbra L. (Hampton) Krueger, Kenneth I. Hampton, Donna (Hampton) Prenta and Timothy Prenta; grandchildren, Roberta (Krueger) Nardone and Jason Nardone, Tuesday (Krueger) Powers and Brian Powers, Scott Prenta, Jeffrey Prenta, Alexander Prenta, Laura Prenta, Kenneth R. Hampton, Benjamin Hampton; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Geenen, Timothy Geenen, Kelsey Greenen, Tyler Powers and Conor Powers. Many other beloved nieces, nephews, friends and Church Family
Cynthia was an accomplished artist and comedian. Her talents blessed all who knew her and her laughter was her gift to the world.
She was a member of Judson Memorial Baptist Church and was active with the youth program. She was an appointed member of the City of Shorewood's, Citizen's Advisory Committee, representing the residents of Alden Estates.
Life
So this is life:

Inurnment for Cynthia M. Hampton and Robert E. Hampton, DVM will be held Friday, July 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. A Memorial Service will be held for Cynthia on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Judson Memorial Baptist Church, 2800 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435. Rev. Kevin S. Comfort officiating.
