Nicolas Yanez Age 46. At rest Thursday, June 5, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Tracy (nee Staats); loving father and "Dad" to Kristin Darnell, Karen Jones, Alyssa Yanez, Tyler, Tiffany and Jacob Staats, and Nicolas Yanez; proud "G-Pa" of Asher and Nicolette; also surviving are his loving mother, Socorro Yanez; sisters, Eva Lara, Graciela Perez, Maria Luisa Ortiz, Rosalva Gordilla and Guadalupe Yanez; brothers, Arturo, Antonio and Fidel Yanez; as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Rufo Yanez. The Proprietor of Nico's Landscaping, he was a kindhearted family man who was hardworking and dedicated to his loyal customers who he thought of as friends. He will be fondly remembered for his smile, sense of humor and easy going, welcoming personality. Funeral Services for Nicolas Yanez will be Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Entombment will be private at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Joliet.
