Obituary of Cynthia Engler

Cindy A. Engler (nee Caldwell) Age 45. Passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 unexpectedly in her sleep, due to an unforeseen ruptured blood vessel. Born in Harvey, IL, she was a Channahon resident for the past 11 years. A graduate of the University of St. Francis with a Bachelors Degree in Health Arts. Employed by Dr. Rudy Paolucci, D.D.S. as a dental hygienist with over 20 years of service. Owner and operator of S.A. Barnes Company. Cindy was a beautiful person and a humanitarian. Whenever anyone needed help, she was always there to lend a hand. Preceded in death by her father, Donald Eugene Caldwell (1993). Survived by her loving and devoted husband of 20 years, Timothy R. Engler; one daughter, Madison "Maddy" Engler and one son, Mason Engler all of Channahon; her mother, Pam Caldwell of Morris; her grandmother, Evelyn Garofalo of Plainfield; two sisters, Kathy (Tom) Wolfe of Minooka and Sarah (Kurt) Wepprecht of Plainfield; one niece, Nicole Giffin; one nephew, T.J. (Delanie) Giffin; and two great-nephews, Ryker and Braxton also survive. Funeral Services for Cindy A. Engler will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds, Joliet. As it was Cindy's wish, Cremation Rites will be accorded following her funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to her children's education fund would be appreciated. Visitation TUESDAY 2:00 p.m. until time of services at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
