Earl W. Parks Age 97. Passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie, Missouri. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen S. (nee Smith) Parks; parents, Richard J. and Magdalena (nee Merck) Parks. Survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann (Ronnie) Morris and Lynn C. (Daniel) Likar; proud grandfather of five; and great-grandfather of 13. Graveside Funeral Services for Earl W. Parks will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Woodlawn II Cemetery, formerly Hills of Rest Cemetery, in Joliet at 1:30 p.m., where full military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps.
