Obituary of Dorothy Carlson

Dorothy M. Carlson (nee Reyes) Of Morris, IL, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at Morris Hospital. Born on October 24, 1944 in Joliet. Residing in Goose Lake since 1977. Graduate of Joliet Township High School class of 1962. Formerly employed by Argonne National Laboratory. Retired from Commonwealth Edison. Dorothy had a passion for cake decorating. Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years, Rudolph F. Carlson, Jr. of Goose Lake; four sons, Rudolph (Renee) Carlson III of Eau Claire WI, Eric Carlson of Richland, WA, Ivan (Jayna) Carlson of Hertford, N.C. and Geoffrey (Sheila) Carlson of Coal City; five grandchildren, Kylee, Rudolph IV, Garrick, Regan and Ryland; one sister, Diane (late Bill) Lewis of Goose Lake; two brothers, Saloman Reyes of Joliet and Richard (Debbie) Reyes of Goose Lake. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her parents, Moises and Juanita (Ortiz) Reyes and one brother, Robert Reyes. Funeral services for Dorothy M. Carlson will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. As it was Dorothy's request cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation Monday 4-8 p.m. at: FRED C.
