Obituary of Raymond Osterman

Raymond J. Osterman Passed away at his home in Joliet, IL at the age of 85. Born January 13, 1929 in Chicago. He retired 24 years ago from ABC-TV to take care of his wife, Dolores, who died of cancer in 1991. Survived by his wife of 21 years, Virginia; son, Timothy; daughters, Laurel Ann (James) Kaiser and Sheryl (Steven) DeVore Bailley; Virginia's five children; 15 grandchildren; sister, Viola (Carl) Strupeck; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 4-9 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Friends and relatives will gather at St. Joseph Church, 416 N. Chicago Street, Joliet for a 10:00 Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
