Obituary of Gerald Carlson

Gerald W. Carlson "Jerry" Age 70, of Morris, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the Morris Hospital. He was born December 23, 1938 in Chicago, IL. to the late Raymond and Edith Carlson. Beloved husband of Bonnie, whom he married June 24, 1961. Loving father of Cindy (Thomas) Stucky, Tom (April) Carlson and Ken (Trina) Carlson. Proud grandfather of Dan and Laura Stucky; Lisa and Erik Carlson; and Jerry Carlson. Dear brother of the late Raymond (Margaret) Carlson and Ronald (Lynn) Carlson. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Jerry retired as Vice President of Evergreen Oak Electric Supply where he worked for 30 years. He was an avid golf enthusiast. Funeral services for Jerry Carlson will be held Monday, July 13, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 118 W. Jackson St., Morris. Interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Morris. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name can be made to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society or First United Methodist Church of Morris. Visitation Sunday 3-7 p.m. at: FRED C.
