Obituary of Jana Testa

Jana Lyn Testa (nee Sukley) At the young age of 51, Jana Lyn came to rest on Thursday, July 3, 2014 in her home following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Joliet to Joseph Sr. and Mary (nee McGee) Sukley, Jana was a lifelong area resident. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her husband at their home in Ft. Myers, FL. Survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Jim Testa of Channahon; stepchildren Michael J. (Erin) Testa of Joliet, Mark (Kirsten) Testa of Shorewood and Sara (Ryan) Dixon of Minooka; grandchildren, Michael A, Matthew, Brenna, Cullen, Laken, Landon and Hayden; mother, Mary of Crest Hill; two sisters, Teena (Ken) Knezetic of Channahon and Tammy (Ted) Mazor of Channahon; three brothers, Robert (Patricia) McGee of New Lenox, Joseph Sukley Jr., and Jerry "Romey" Sukley of Channahon; brothers-in-law, Ken Falkenberg and William (Pat) Testa of The Villages, FL; special Godson, Kenney Knezetic Jr; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sukley, Sr.; sister, Patricia Falkenberg; grandson, Beylen Testa and nephew, Bobby McGee. Funeral services for Jana Lyn Testa will be Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Joseph Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. As it was her wish, Cremation Rites will follow Mass.
