"Andy"
Age 33, of Minooka, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 unexpectedly at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center. Graduate of Minooka High School, was an usher and member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Minooka, founder and charter member of N.A. of Minooka. Employed at Pool and Spa Works in New Lenox. Andy was a fine gardener of vegetables, an avid fisherman, a music enthusiast, a loyal Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He was proud to celebrate his Irish heritage. His passing causes pain and grief for Andy was a kind and considerate gentleman.
Survived by his loving parents Michael and Marilou (McEvilly) Carr, brother Jonathan (fiancee Brittany Bunch) of Fairfax, Virginia and sister Mallory of Naperville. His grandparents Anne (Clennon) McEvilly and Gerald and Phyllis Carr all of Minooka. Loving nephew of Colleen (late Raymond) Kapsch, Patrick (Linda) McEvilly, Kathleen (James) Cox, Peggy McEvilly-Reed, Kevin (Meg) McEvilly, Brian (Denise) McEvilly, Kelly (Nicholas) Galatte and Lynnette (Khen) Singh. Numerous cousins and friends also survive.
Preceded in death by maternal grandfather James Lawrence McEvilly and cousin Ryan Reed.
Andy was a special person who touched the lives of so many people through his beautiful smile, great sense of humor and loving nature. Although his time here was too short his family finds comfort in knowing Andy is with God and grandpa looking over all of us as our very own guardian angels.
Funeral Services for Andrew R. Carr will be Monday, May 21, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka. Visitation Sunday 2:00-7:00 p.m. at:
