Obituary of Stacey Carter

Carter, Stacey Michelle Stacey Michelle Carter passed away peacefully at her home in Romeoville, Illinois after a courageous battle with cancer on December 17, 2010. Stacey was born February 23,1972 to Mylon Bailey and Jo Ann Davis. Stacey was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1991. Stacey will be remembered by her loving family. She is survived by her treasured daughter London Brianna Vyfhuis, her paternal grandfather Joseph Francis Bailey, maternal grandparents Joe Willie Newell and Martha McCallum; loving sisters Marla Bailey (Dexter Bonner), Ashley Richards (Sherlon), Tara Brooks (Anthony) and Chanel Bailey; devoted brothers Maurice Griffen, Daniel Bailey, and Joseph M. Bailey; and fiancé Emanuel Edwards. Stacey also leaves behind nieces, nephews and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of friends who loved her dearly and have been a part of her life. Stacey was preceded in death by her loving grandmother Kay V. Bailey, her uncle Brent Bailey, and sister Kendra Wood (Gerald). Stacey graduated from Joliet Central High School. She attended Purdue University and DePaul University where she received her degree in Computer Science/Information Systems Management. Stacey worked many years as an Information Systems Analyst for several companies. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. The family will receive all friends and relatives on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until time of services at: FRED C.
