Obituary of Rebecca Kallaus

Rebecca C. Kallaus Age 38, of Joliet, passed away suddenly, Friday, August 22, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center emergency room. She was born June 8, 1976 in Woodstock, and was a graduate of Joliet Central High School. Rebecca was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend who will be remembered for her loving, giving and thoughtful ways. She was her mother's best friend and loved all animals. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Jackie and Terry Peel of Joliet; her father and stepmother, Patrick and Penny Kallaus of Hawaii; two brothers, Garrick Kallaus and Jerod (Angela) Kallaus; one sister, Kristyn Kallaus; one stepbrother, Brendan Kallaus; two nephews, Teddy and Weston; her grandmother, Patricia (late Jim Connolly) (late Grandpa Paul) Kallaus; and Toby, her canine companion. A Memorial Service for Rebecca C. Kallaus will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet.
