Obituary of Thomas Sarnicki

Thomas T. Sarnicki Age 79. Passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at his home. Born on October 5, 1934 in Joliet to Thomas and Anna (nee Mako) Sarnicki, he was a lifelong resident. Member of the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus. His favorite pastimes included golf, tennis and bowling. Thomas is survived by his children, Sandra Brown and Michael (Paula) Sarnicki; grandchildren, Nicholas (Melissa Tatiana Giraldo Henao), Anthony Sarnicki, Amanda and Michael Brown; one brother, George Sarnicki; two sisters, Agnes Volk-Opelia and Margaret Montavani; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Beverly M. (nee Hartmann); his parents; one brother, John Sarnicki; and one sister, Ann Hunch. Funeral Services for Thomas T. Sarnicki will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
