Obituary of Edward Kozubek

Edward Martin Kozubek Age 88, formerly of Joliet, and a resident of the Manteno Veterans Home in Manteno since 1989, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Home. Born July 22, 1926 in Joliet, he was the son of Martin and Mary (nee Sowa) Kozubek. Edward was a veteran of the United States Army serving with Company "B" of the 7th Infantry, Third Army, serving in Northern France during World War II. Ed worked as a groundskeeper for the Joliet Park District for many years. He was a avid Cubs fan who enjoyed listening to the Cubs games and playing Bingo. Graveside Services for Edward M. Kozubek will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Joliet. Military Rites will be accorded by the United States Army.
