Obituary of Marie Erker

Marie M. Erker (nee Holub) Age 99. Peacefully Monday, September 15, 2014 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center with her family by her side. Born October 8, 1914 in Chicago, IL. Preceded by her husband, Walter Erker, Sr. (1962); two sons, Walter, Jr. and William Erker; parents; one brother, Ed (Marion) Holub; and two sisters, Catherine (Ches) Kolodziej and Elizabeth (Karl) Anton. Survived by her daughter, Mary (Richard) Bolland of Plainfield; 12 granchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Marie M. Erker will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd., Joliet to St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Rt. 59, Plainfield, IL 60544 for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL. Visitation Wednesday, 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
