Obituary of William Case

William E. Case Age 80, formerly of Hickory Hills, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at his home in Spring Valley, IL. A decorated Korean War Army veteran, he was the recipient of two bronze stars, two purple heart awards, and the Republic of Korea Wharang medal. He worked over 30 years for R. R. Donnelly in Chicago, retiring as a printing supervisor. Surviving are his beloved wife, Virginia N. (nee Elle) Case; three sons, Bill (Jackie) Case of Shirley, IL, Greg (Erin) Case of Paducah, KY, and Tom (Elise) Case of Joliet; and 13 grandchildren. Preceded by his mother and step-father, Nora (nee Ketchum) and Hjalmar Peterson. Funeral Services for William E. Case will be Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
