Obituary of Rosanne Schultz

Rosanne Schultz (nee Stern) Age 68, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 25, 2014, due to complications from multiple sclerosis. She was born May 19, 1946 in Chicago to the late Wilma and Albert Stern. Beloved wife of 45 years to Gil; loving mother of Audrey (Jeremy) Hughes of St. Charles, IL and Steve (Danielle) Schultz of Arlington Heights, IL; proud and devoted grandmother of Justin and Alyssa Hughes. Also survived by her brother, Dennis (Kitty) Stern of Skokie, IL; and seven nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, including her stepfather, Louis Stronberg. Rosanne retired from Troy Middle School where she taught language arts and previously typing. A graduate of Northern Illinois University, she was past President of the Joliet Junior Womens Club and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Funeral Services for Rosanne Schultz will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1910 Black Road, Joliet, IL where she will Lie in State from 9:00 a.m. until time of services at 10:00 a.m. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
