Obituary of Virginia Moore

Virginia L. Moore "Ginny" (nee Heintz) Age 90. At rest Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary (Milavec) Heintz, resided in Wisconsin from 1976 returning to Joliet in 2004. Retired from Sears Roebuck as a division manager in 1976, past Madam President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and volunteer firefighter for Adams County, WI. Her interests included fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, gardening and especially her grandchildren. Survived are her two sons, Rick (Valerie) Moore of Joliet and Tom (Joy) Moore of Crest Hill; four grandchildren, Lisa, Christopher, Justin and Timothy Moore; one great-granddaughter, Tala Keeran Moore; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded by her loving husband, Curtis O. Moore; parents; three sisters, Marie (Wendell) Anderson, Geraldine (Robert) Boley and Ann (James) Ashbrook; and three brothers, Raymond (Vonnie), Joseph (Corrine) and Richard (Carol) Heintz. Funeral Services for Virginia L. Moore will be Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
