Just came back to work and reading the sad news. We will miss Erick who has been always present to help and assist. Accept our deepest condoleances from the Moosetache team here at Capital One.
Erick, it was an honor to know you in the short time that I did at Capital One. You were an example of a resilient and fun loving guy that I looked to emulate. You will be severely missed. Rest in Peace buddy.
May Jesus resurrect your family in Faith and know that Eric, who lived only briefly here on earth will live eternally next to our heavenly Father. May you be given the internal spiritual strength to endure such a loss. Eric was a special person, and I only spoke to him briefly here at work (Capital One). God bless your family during this time.

You made four years of French class entertaining and fun. Your smile lit up a room and you were one of the most genuine people I ever met. The world was a better place with you in it. May you rest in paradise knowing you were truly loved by many.

Erick was one of the greatest and sweetest guys I knew. He always knew how to make the room smile and laugh. Over these past few months he and I had gotten very close and he became someone special to me. Like you told me Friday morning "I'll see you soon"...well dear, I will be waiting. Miss you
I just want to say how sorry I am!! This is a nightmare I never want to have to imagine... I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the wake as I'm in VA with my daughter's family. God bless all of you and comfort you during this time!!
Erick was such a fun and good natured guy -I will miss catching up with him -I so enjoyed him as a member of the intern group summer 2012 as well as the TDP July class of 2013. I will not forget his amazing hand crafted Christmas sweater at the Holiday party last year...:) Erick had an hilarious sense of humor, sweet nature and an easy going way that just made him a pleasure to be around. He will be missed very much. Deep condolences to Erick's parents and siblings and other family.
I worked with Erick at Capital One, and he was a regular source of joy in my life. He always had a joke, a funny gif, or a witty story to share. I am deeply moved by his passing, and I send my sincerest condolences to his family.
Erick Smith was a great guy with an incredible sense of humor. He was a good friend and always knew how to make people laugh. His unrelenting American pride was forever bold and in your face especially on the fourth of July. I had the pleasure of meeting his 3 summers ago in what I now consider to be one of the best summers of my life. Erick was the first man I had ever loved. We dated in college and quickly became each other's best friend. Whether it was late nights of studying or watching movies together, we never hesitated to joke and laugh continuously. I'll always cherish the beautiful memories we made together at school. And I know Lilly is going to miss him more than anything. He has touched me in countless ways and I will miss him dearly. Thank you Erick for being such a great part of my life. You will always hold a special place in my heart.
We will always remember how his Smile lit up the room. He always gave great hugs. If everyone could be so kind this world would be full of Love. Today I wrap my arms around Susan Dave Kyla & Kara with Love. Keep his laughter going. He will be your Angel watching to make sure you are Loving each other in his honor. Many have been Blessed.
