Obituary of William Crook
William W. Crook, Jr.
Age 71. At rest Monday, November 24, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Born in Joliet on March 2, 1943 to William W., Sr. and Juanita (nee Richards), he was a lifetime resident. William proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a Private First Class. He retired from Joliet Township High School after 32 years of service. Member of the American Legion Post #18, he was also a volunteer at Silver Cross Hospital. He was an avid fisherman, who loved to mushroom hunt, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and cooking.
Survived by his soul mate, Mary Kay Baldigo; daughter, Tammy Crook; he was a father figure to Joan (Don) Grimm and Joey Baldigo; also survived by his brother-in-law, Bill Kirin; nephew, Paul Jenco; nieces, Wendy Estand, Kim Stapinski, Teri Szymanski, Toni Shaw and Tina Smith; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Kirin; his wife, Donna Jones; children, William, Wesley and Juanita Crook; and Kathy Yack.
