Obituary of Lavern Hoiden

Lavern B. Hoiden (nee Heilman) Age 83, died suddenly, Wednesday December 17, 2014. She was born in Chicago to the late Bernice (Bretz) and Herman Heilman and had resided on the Southwest Side most of her life until moving to Shorewood, IL 15 years ago. Beloved wife of the late Edward Hoiden (1974); loving mother of Deborah Hoiden, Jim (Sharon) Hoiden, Nancy Hoiden and Michael (Marsha) Wodek; dearest grandmother of Erin, Stephen, Jessica, Jamie and Alex; proud great-grandmother of Tony; fond sister of Evelyn Leparski and the late Leroy (Ruth) Heilman. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She will also be missed by many dear friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday December 22, 2014 at 10:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rd., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, Mass 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
