Obituary of Marjorie Kinsella

Marjorie J. Kinsella Age 78, of Minooka, passed away after a long battle with breast cancer on December 20, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Bernice Kinsella; her brother, Lawrence and sister-in-law, Idan Kinsella; and her most beloved sister, Celeste Kinsella. Survived by her brother, Don (Lou Ann) Kinsella; her only daughter, Mary Beth Kinsella; her loving grandchildren, James (Alyssa), Justin (Rhiannon), Jessica and Jeremy Larkin; her beloved great-grandchildren; as well as her dearly loved nieces and nephews. Marjorie spent her childhood in Joliet; she was the third of four children from an Irish Catholic family. Later in life, Marjorie built and shared a home with her cherished sister, Celeste, and her daughter, Mary Beth. Marjorie was an avid business woman who ventured into many different occupations during her years. She attended St. Francis Academy. For several years, she and her sister ran a small popular boutique called the Country House Boutique and Tea Room out of their home. After retirement, Marjorie was always an on-the-go character who enjoyed her time with her dogs, bird watching, but most importantly spending time with her daughter and her large family. She was an extremely enthusiastic, big-hearted individual who centered her life on family. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Funeral Services for Marjorie J. Kinsella will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka. A luncheon will follow services at Mary Beth's home at 26262 W. Silver Stream Dr. Channahon, IL 60410. Visitation Friday 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
