This wonderful person had many facets of her life and I had the privilege of sharing a small bit of space and time with her. I must tell you who she was to me and mine… I first met Coletta when my son started kindergarten at St. Peter Lutheran School many years ago. Coletta’s welcoming nature, gentle demeanor, and kindness permeated every interaction my family had with her. As we got to know Coletta over the years, we truly appreciated her quick wit, notable laugh, and genuine happiness – the sort that makes you seek her out to share in that kind of happiness. I witnessed Coletta’s magnanimous character and was always in awe of the enormous amount of goodness God packaged in such a petite lady. My deepest condolences to all who mourn the passing of this vivacious soul, especially her dear husband Ron and daughters Elizabeth, Emily, and Leslie.

The picture I'm looking at right now shows the essence of Coletta. She has a broad smile...perhaps even a little irreverent. She is effervescent and perky. She loves to laugh and cause others to laugh, but in a serious moment she is rock solid in her ability to help.
All of us who know her have stories that capture that Coletta--there are too many to recount. But the essence of Coletta is joy, happiness, service, caring and that beuatiful smile.

Cousin Collette had a wonderful laugh/so full of energy as a child especially when running around with my younger brother Willy/Billy at family weddings.

Dear sister, you will always be in my heart . My mind is filled with memories of you as an adorable precocious child and a beautiful woman. You were a good wife and mother and you filled lives with laughter and love. Rest in peace, Baby Blue Eyes. You did good and you got to go Home. God bless Ronnie, your girls and their families.
There are no words to express my feelings of loss; you will be missed...

Coletta is the 4th child of Herbert Weith. Herbert was the oldest son of Clausina and William Weith. As children all of the cousins were close, sharing good and special times with our grandparents, William and Clausina. The door was always open to their house at 4211 North Hamlin Avenue. We spent many Sunday nights having supper with our aunts and uncles and cousins. The children gathered round and played together as the parents talked and socialized. I have precious memories of that time in my life.
Rest in peace my cousin. You will always have a special place in my heart.
Cousin Nancy

I will always remember how you always were happy and smiling and the day that you bought your car, you were so darn happy and I loved to see you driving it past our house. You will be terribly missed in the neighborhood, your happy go lucky self will leave a big empty spot on our block. God Bless you Coletta. We will watch out for Ron and the girls.
