Thank you for allowing me to have your most prized possession; your son Jerry Jr. I will always remember you for your true servant spirit in all those you came in contact with.I am sure have made God very happy as He called you home and said "well done,my good and faithful servant" The best memory I have to share is when I got to say "how would like to be a grandpa? You were speechless, and you gave your grandaughter the best gift of all,the gift of your time. We all miss you terribly but we know you are with your heavenly Father and are truly Home. Love you and till we meet again

I have so many memories of Jerry at the Villa. He was truly a very good friend to the Alzheimer patient. He was so giving, he prayed often for my family. I remember setting up for "Miss Lillian" with him so the residents could hear her organ music. He taught me how to wrap the microphone cord the right way! He was always, smiling and helpful. I'm so glad I knew him. Judy you will be in my prayers; you have my condolences.

I remember well my days playing with the Bill Gerald Orchestra in the early '80s. With Gerry fronting the band and joining us in the trombone section, we always had a good time performing at concerts, dances and other society functions. Lots of friendliness and camaraderie; that was the way Gerry and his father ran the band, assisted most handily by Gerry's brother, Dwayne. Gerry also occasionally led a group of three trombones and rhythm, an ensemble he loved. Doing this kind of work for such congenial people was instrumental in raising my interest to the point that I decided to resume my career as a full-time bass trombonist in the U.S. Navy, first being sent to Orlando, FL, and then winning an audition for the U.S. Naval Academy Band in Annapolis, MD, where I spent twenty years. One highlight was in the summer of 1990, when I got to perform once again with Gerry, Bill and the guys and be a featured soloist at Bicentennial Park. Gerry and his father made me feel right at home; it was just their way. My condolences to the family; Gerry was a great person and will be missed!

May God Bless the family. Jerry will always remain in all of our hearts. He was always there for his family, friends, and the Knights of Columbus. Whether preparing a dish/serving at Daybreak, helping at the Paulite dinners, Pancake breakfast's, serving as our Worthy Warden and many other Knight's of Columbus functions he truly served God. May he now rest in God's arms. God Bless Sir Knight Gerald J. Linich Sr., you will be missed.

Uncle Jerry, I'll never forget the exchanges of laughs, stories, interests, and overall time spent together. There are no words for me to express my gratitude to you for always helping us through the tough times and making the great times even better. I'm sad we won't be able to talk about the new Star Wars together, but I'll be thinking of you with a big smile on my face when I'm in that theatre. Be at peace and rest Uncle Jerry.

Papa, Thank you for being my bestest friend ever and I will always remember you and everything you have taught me. I will miss playing with you (especially tailgating). I know you will always be with me;watching over me and guiding me as I grow up. Give Jesus, Grandma Elizabeth,Dilly,Dally, and Pretty a big hug, kiss, ugga mugga, and pat pat for me. Love "your girl" Ellie P.S. Don't worry about Shabba (grandma), I will make sure she doesn't get into to much trouble. But,Papa please ask Jesus to make it windy when I teach her how to fly our kites. I will teach her just like you taught me. I am going to share you princess kite with her.
