Obituary of Marilyn Abrant

Marilyn Abrant Age 78, Morris, IL and formerly Merrionette Park, IL passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015. Beloved wife of Richard J. Abrant; loving mother of the late Diane Sobon, Irene (James) Moran of Morris and Thomas (Lynn) Abrant of Marseilles; dearest grandmother of Christopher Abrant, Tom Sobon, Jenny Sobon, Kelly Roche and Jason (Michelle) Maracic. Marilyn was also a proud great-grandmother and fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her daughter, Diane; her parents; and all her siblings. Marilyn enjoyed playing bingo and the occasional trip to the riverboat casino. Funeral services for Marilyn Abrant will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home in Morris, IL. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL. Visitation Tuesday, 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. For information (815) 942-5040.
