Obituary of Mark Persinger

Mark S. Persinger Age 40. Suddenly Monday, January 19, 2015. Employed with Local #174 with over 10 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. Loving father of Lance and Jonny Persinger; sisters, Tammy (Dennis) Shepherd, Debbie (Shaun) Loy and Kimberly Phillips; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Alaina Shepherd, Dow, Shaun, Jr., Steven and Chad Loy and Ivan Shaw II; father, Ralph Persinger; step-father, Dow Johnson; grandmothers, Mary (nee Gehlhausen) Flannagan and Wilma (nee Howe) Koch; and many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by his mother, Donna M. Johnson (December 22, 2013); grandfathers, Albert Flannagan and Johnny Koch; aunt, Charlene Yates; and cousin, Dustin Faulkenberg. Funeral Services for Mark Persinger will be Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
