Obituary of Theodore Chasse

Theodore F. Chasse, Jr "Ted" Age 52. Died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center due to injuries sustained from a recent fall. Born June 17, 1955 in Hinsdale to the late Theodore and Lois (nee Schuh) Chasse Sr., he has resided in Joliet since 1992. A former Crestwood resident. A graduate of A.A. Stagg High School, Ted was also a U.S. Army veteran who served during Viet-Nam. Employed for over 25 years at Air Brake Products of Bedford Park; he was Plant manager the past 17 years. A member of the Southside Civic Club and Past Commander of American Legion Post #1080 . Beloved father of Todd (Holly) and Sonya Chasse; Loving fiance of Donna Featherstone. Proud grandfather of Anthony and Tyler. Dearest brother of Tom (Sheila), Terry, Tony (JoAnn), Tim (Maureen) , Tracy and Tammy Chasse. Several nieces, nephews, cousins as well as his best friends Jason Taylor and Lloyd Flatt Jr. also survive. Funeral services for Ted Chasse will be Friday, July 6, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Juell officiating. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
