Obituary of Kelly Timmons

Kelly Dale Timmons Age 63. Passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Edward Hines VA Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer and drew his last breath while in the arms of his loving, devoted wife. Born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and a lifelong Golden, Mississippi resident. A U.S Army Vietnam veteran. Kelly was the first of the First Cavalry and a recipient of the Purple Heart and two combat infantry badges. Retired from Cooper Tires and Rubber Company in Tupelo, MS as a supervisor after 20 years of service. A member of VFW Post #4976 Mississippi and the American Legion Post #51. Preceded by his parents, Lucoy and Hazel (nee sides) Timmons. Survived by his loving wife, Kristin Timmons of Crest Hill, IL. As it was Kelly's request, Cremation Rites have been accorded.
