Edward W. Nabzdyk Edward W. Nabzdyk, age 83, late of Plainfield, and formerly of Tinley Park, IL passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Retired from International Harvester after many years of service. Beloved father of Edward R. (Wendy) Nabzdyk, the late Judith Anne Nabdzyk (2014), Eileen (Ron) Rodger and James (Kathleen) Nabzdyk. Devoted grandfather of Jill Anne Nabdzyk, Thomas (Jennifer) Nabzdyk; Anne (Frank) Albi, Erika Rodger (James Auger), Lauren Nabzdyk, Kimberly Nabzdyk and Heather Nabzdyk. Proud great-grandfather of Emmett Albi and Michael Skiotes. Dear brother of the late Chester Nabzdyk, Loretta Zolkowski and the late Raymond Nabzdyk. Also survived by a special niece, Lori Ann Zolkowski. Ed, fondly known as "The Mayor of Lakewood", was an umpire for 50 years, calling baseball games for players from age 8 to 40 and over. He loved bowling and baseball and was an avid Cubs fan. Visitation for Edward Nabzdyk will be Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a funeral service at 3:30 p.m. at Fred C.
