Obituary of Kay Sadilek

Kay L. Sadilek (nee Bosley) Age 70, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 21, 2015with her family by her side, after a long battle with cancer. She was born May 17, 1944 to the late Helen "Sally" (nee Flowers) and James L. Bosley in West Virginia where she was raised and educated. She is survived by her five children, Debra Fata, Cheryl (Jerry) Prairie, Vicki (Troy) Dunlap, John (Joy) Sadilek and Michael (Patty) Sadilek; 12 grandchildren, Trista (Joe) Pervola, Stephanie (Keith) Ward, Michael Sadilek, Anthony Fata, Ashley (Wes) Thomason, Buddy (Amanda) Prairie, Zachary (Candy) Prairie, Kayla Dunlap, Curtis Dunlap, T.J. Dunlap, Cole Dunlap and Lexi Dunlap; 10 great-grandchildren, Alexia Sadilek, Justice and Kaylee Ward, Joseph and Ava Pervola, Draven and Daryl Dunlap, Zachary and Gabriella Prairie, Everett Prairie and another great-granddaughter due in June. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by her loving husband Vincent C. Sadilek (July 28, 2005); her parents; two children in infancy, Sandra and Charles Harris; one sister, Healen Rich; two brothers, James L. and Fred Bosley. Kay, a member of the Women of the Moose, Joliet Chapter #84, was a NASCAR fan who enjoyed watching "Days of Our Lives" . The Sadilek family would like to thank Joliet Area Community Hospice for their care and compassion shown Kay in her last days. The comfort afforded Kay will always be remembered. Funeral services for Kay Sadilek will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black Rd. (at Essington) Joliet, with Rev. David Green officiating. Interment will be private at a later date in West Virginia. Visitation Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
