Obituary of John Feeney

John T. Feeney Age 70, of Joliet and a former Chicago resident, died Monday, April 6, 2015. Born January 19, 1945 in Chicago, IL to the late Ethel (nee Sward) and Thomas "Tim" Feeney. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, he also held a P.E. license with the State of Illinois and had retired as an engineer from the Water Reclamation District of Chicago with 31 years of service. A U.S. Army veteran who served during Vietnam War. A member of American Legion Post #1080. Survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Susan (nee Marciniak) Feeney; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Gerald) Schuytema; brother-in-law, William (Rebecca) Marciniak; some cousins; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Donald Espinosa. Funeral Services for John T. Feeney will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. As it was John's wish, Cremation Rites will be accorded following services. Visitation Friday, 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
